DisplacedRealities

Displaced Realities - game where realities have shifted and world turned into chaos. You have a power to interact with different realities in order to change current reality and accomplish something. This demo shows main mechanic of the game - Ability to shift realities. With that power you will need to solve a couple puzzles and explore the given location - it holds some secrets!

Note: Game was initially created for KennyJam2023, so it's have only Kenny's assets, it looks will change a lot in the future.

Player have three main parameters:

Shifting Material, Health and Fixed Material.

Shifting Material used to shift realities, with it’s power player will turn off damaging floor, find secrets, open doors and just change how different objects looks.

Health is basic, it ends - you die. Nothing more at the moment.

Fixed Material used to interact with current reality - collect chests, activate buttons.

Beside this parameters player can collect Runes from barrels and chests. Collecting Runes is a main target of player in this demo. They often hidden in some secret places.

All demo is focused on changing objects in order to progress and finding secrets.

There are currently no combat or any action and puzzles are easy - it’s just a showcase for mechanic and i spent way too much time making system, that i will be able to expand in future without rewriting all code, so i wasn’t able to do some really good level design.
